Project Location: Los Angeles, California Client: Saint Sophia Foundation Completion Date: 2005 Construction Cost: $9,000,000 On the occasion of their 50th Anniversary, Saint Sophia Cathedral is embarking on a building development program to design a three-story Cultural, Educational, and Sports complex. Architects and the Board of Trustees have been working closely together to ensure the Foundation's vision will be met. The new 30,000 SF facility will contain church offices, multi-purpose school and meeting rooms, a computer and mail room, a library, choir music room, nursery, book and religious gift shop, boardroom and a multi-purpose reception area. In addition, the sports complex will be adaptable for live theater and movie presentations, dancing, additional dining space, as well as for sporting events.
